Air Conditioning Video Houston

Air of Houston provides energy saving tips and ac advice for Houstonians since 1995.

Lower Your Energy Bill

An energy saving tip from Air of Houston! The higher you can set your thermostat and stay comfortable is the best setting. With our Houston heat and humidity, we recommend 76 to 78 degrees when home and about 80 degrees when you are away.

Usually raising your thermostat 2 degrees will reduce cooling costs from 3 to 5 percent.

Choosing an AC Unit

It’s about efficiency, and it’s best to get a properly sized unit for your specific home. A properly sized unit will use less electricity and will control both temperature and humidity; making your home more comfortable.

AC Efficiency and SEER

The SEER is the indicator of efficient the unit is. The higher the SEER number, the lower the operating costs. Air conditioning units of 14 SEER or higher is considered a high efficiency.

Customer Review

"Last night our main air conditioner unit went down. Combined with the brutal heat and having our house up for sale, I needed help quickly. I called your company . . ."
and they responded beautifully. Within three hours, your technician, Randy Harper, came and quickly repaired our air conditioner"
- Jim Jones

"Thanks so much for fixing our air conditioning on such short notice. We called several other AC service companies but you were the only one that could come out the same evening that we called and check our failing system out"
